ICC Durban Venue Hire and Services

Self-Catered venue hire includes

  • Carpeted, air-conditioned venue.
  • Electricity.
  • ICC Chef to supervise your selected caterers in the use of ICC equipment and pantry.
  • Cleaning in terms of preparation of all venues front and back of house and all adjacent toilets to be fully equipped and prepared.
  • A Function Supervisor to help direct the caterers and to oversee the correct use of the front of house areas.
  • Set up of the structure i.e. all tables will be placed in position with the chairs stacked next to each table, and the stage of 9.6m by 4.8m meters will be placed in position.
  • A PA system will be available with two microphones.
  • Our normal perimeter security will be in attendance.        
The following services/items are not included in the rates quoted in the table attached and a separate costs estimate may be obtained from the Company upon request together with comprehensive details of what is required:
  • Additional space required other than that indicated in point 2.0 above.*
  • Additional set up and breakdown periods.*
  • Beverages as in point 3.1.1 above.*
  • Audio Visual and technician services for specialised equipment.*
  • Storage space.*
  • Function decorations and floral displays.*
  • Black back-drop curtaining
  • Specialised menus, place cards and table settings.*
  • Security within hired venues.*
  • Medical services are provided on a user pay basis.*
  • Stewards @ R 550.00 per steward (1 per 250 pax) – Compulsory.*
  • Cleaning and Damage deposit per Hall) – Compulsory.
  • Personnel and Ushers.*
  • Parking (may be limited due to business levels) (Currently R 20.00 per bay/per day – single entry).*
  • Waitron Services.
  • Bar service
  • Cutlery, Crockery, Glassware and any other catering utensils
  • Electricity consumption.
